Sansui Receiver 551 output power wattage

Hello good people. I just procured a Sansui Receiver model 551. Problem is I need to get speakers for it.

The following link says the wattage is 15 watts RMS

The back plate on the receiver says 60 Watts.

I have speakers that have max power handling of 50 watts that I'm afraid to connect to it for fear of blowing them up.

Can someone set me straight here, please?
