AU919 and BA2000

Hey guys,
Wondering if maybe this is something Beatlefred can answer. I have the AU919 and BA2000. Both have spring clips for the speaker wires. I was wanting to install (convert) both units to gold plated binding posts. Is it possible, necessary, or even worth it?
