The 3000A dates back to the late 60's. I have one as well, its the oldest Sansui I have in my collection. Mine's a 1968 model. But with all the other Sansui's I have, I havent been able to use the 3000A as much.
I'm glad to hear you appreciate the receiver. At about 45W, its a midrange model.
