The TV needs to be set to the AV channel
Yellow cable from DVD must connect to yellow input (RCA) of TV (Composite - factory defualt)
You could even use S-video if your TV has an S-video input.. Make sure to set this in the UNIT from the remote setup video .....
Again defualt is composite and you will always get picture on Composite (Yellow RCA cable input)
