Just wanted to say Thank You ! This site has been a big help to me and obviously a great many people.
When I was 20 I owned my first Sansui system. A G-3000 and a pair of Sp-5500X speakers. I loved them. But I got married and as it happens. The wife didn't like the size of my babies. So I sold them to her brother.
Well last year (after 20 years)I asked if he'd sell them back since they were in storage collecting dust. I got a big NO from him. So I started looking for some replacements.
Well thanks to this site I not only located a receiver, But I found a G-22000 WOW ! And a pair of Sp-9900X Speakers elsewhere. The Big G needed some TLC and is now being repaired. But the service rep. called and told me he couldn't fix it without spending several costly hours to find out what was wrong. So I purchased the service manual on the sister site obsinc.us Now he says it will be done this week very inexpensively. Thanks again !
I have been following this bulletin board for some time and I Found SVEN's comments out of line. He did apologize which is fine - he should have in my opinion. Asking for freebies shame on him...
I'm thankful for this site and the time and effort Mr.Asakura, Beatlefred and others have given !
