I'd begin checking the relay in the board f-2657 and look for burned capacitor in the board f-2624 (this is just a guess)

I'd like to describe the problem I have because might be useful for someone: I Initially assumed that my sansui 9090db was with a problem in the volume/balance potentiometer: if the volume was increased or even the know touched, the sound would disappear and there was a lot of scratch noises. Furthermore the left channel (or was the right one(?)) was virtually with no gain.

Then I cleaned up the pot and so I got both channels with a VERY small amplification.

If I get this solved I'll post it how it was done.

: I am in need of a schematic and an owner's manual for a Sansui 9090DB. My problem is that when powered up the "power protector" LED won't stop flashing and she won't power up. Rear fuse is good. Can someone help???
