Not to push my luck, but have you run across any literature on Sansui SP-5500 speakers? I don't know if the specs would compare favourably to more contemporary cabs, but I certainly haven't been disappointed in their performance with any of my eclectic collection. Unfortunately they have been banished to my basement listening "room," as their massive size doesn't make them very spouse-friendly for the upstairs decor!
