I have had the same problems you have. I have that same model turntable. I got the arm to work though, and most likely you have the same problem. I work with Electronics, and so I had the turntable opened up, after it would not work, and the motor that is with the mechanism for the arm, has a rubber band on it, connecting to a pulley. The problem with mine, is probably because of time, the rubber band loosened, and the motor won't spin the pulley to make the arm move. I simply replaced it with another rubber band I had here at home. It works excellent now. Probably that is all that is wrong with yours. I also am looking for the SN-707 stylus for my turntable. I'm still trying to figure out where to get one.

: : Was planning on taking some of my old vynil and make CD's. Got out the OLD Sansui system and went to set up the turntable. The stylus cartridge is shot. I need a replacement SN-707 stylus cartridge. Any one know where I can get it? Also the tone arm did not want to work??? Not sure if that was from the bad cartridge or not. Powers up and plater spins, but tone arm stays put??

: : Thanks,
