Reference Mr McConnell's statement that the Sansui 1000A was produced from 1967 to 1970. . . . . . . .I bought my first Sansui 1000A at the Tachikawa Air Base east side BX (in the Japanese Bazaar)just before Christmas 1965. I had arrived there on 1 August 1965.
I still have the original Sansui 1000A - SN 16062089, and another unit that was made in 1966 (I purchased it in 1995. . .it also is in excellent condition)

: My dad recently got a new stereo system and he gave me his SANSUI 1000A that he has owned since the late 1960's. This looks and sounds perfect. He even gave me the original Operating Instructions and Service Manual. I was thinking about selling it and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is worth?
