: Sten, thank you for the tip on the manual. I did order it but it does not list R-57 on the parts list, however it does show it on page 9 of the F-2980 board. The other thing that seems strange is that the conductor runs are laid out differently than on my board, and also that row of resistors, diode and capacitor are also laid out diferently. It's almost like there was a different version of the board. I still don't know the value of R-57.

Sometimes the manual can be different from the board depending on another version (upgrade etc)
It seems that your G-7500 is such a model.
Sometimes there are also Service Bulletins available explaining the difference.
However, I saw in another forum that a guy said it should be 1.5k, hope heīs right.
