I was a stereo nut in the 1970's.My favorite brands at that time was Marantz,Pioneer & Sansui.
My current equipment though modern does not impress me,like the vintage equipment I own.
Sansui at a 55 watt per channel RMS output was
more than adequate in its time & now !.Heavy but well made in Japan.The Sansui brand is still in
existant(TV) but I doubt it is the same company
that existed in the 1970's.
