: : I have a pair of SP-X11000 Speakers that I run off a Sony ES7000 Amp. I would love to match those speakers to a Sansui amp. Did Sansui ever make an amp big enough (350 watts per channel RMS) to power those speakers?

: Hi Guy
: The specs for your SP-X11000 are 350 watts, 102dB, 20 - 23 kHz. The figure 350 watts indicate Maximum Input Power and donīt what you NEED. Your speakers are also very sensitive as the figure 102dB means that you can get 102dB in Sound Pressure Level (SPL) at a distance of 1 meter with 1 Watt input. Your other question about high power amplifier you can have a look for BA-5000 rated 2 x 300W or G-33000 the receiver rated 2 x 300W but both of them deliver around 2 x 375 Watt with 8 ohms load. You can visit another forum especially for Sansui. Click on the link

I have a pair of the SP-x11000 and Im going to sell them, if you want a chance at them, I will surly give you one. Please e-mail me with yopur price.
