I recently bought a 717. My left channel was acting like it was about to die. I noticed two RCA type plugs located at the pre-out/main in jacks. I removed, then reinstalled them and the left channel problems went away. Even though the the pre-out main-in switch was set to capacitive coupling. These jacks may need to be loaded with these rca plugs. I still need to clean up these jacks.
