I have determined that the phono preamp of my beloved AU-7900 is dying, it will power up OK, produce good sound for a few minutes, then the right channel will come in and out. I am considering purchasing a TCC (750 or 740) as a stand-alone phono preamp rather than taking the amp in....any thoughts?
I have dissassemble the amp to look for the obvious (loose connections etc) but was not able to find anything.......help!
