Hi All,
My recently acquired TU-9500 has developed a problem, the tuner will not work in stereo mode, and outputs only a mono signal. The FM stereo indicator will not light.
I checked the stereo indicator bulb, and it is good. A quick check of the discriminator diodes proved they are all good.
Does anyone have an idea of what components to check? I suspect one of the dual-gated FET's in the FM front end, but want to be sure. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the TU-9500?
Power supply voltages check out OK.
