If you have a Voltage Selector there is one Fuse on the Board F-2928 and another inside the Transformer. This Fuse is connected between point 06 and 07 on Board F-2928. It can be bypassed but you loose the Heat Security.

If you donīt have a Voltage Selector there are three Fuses. Two on Board F-2928 and another inside Transformer. The latter located inside the PT702 Transformer and is connected in series with the Primary Winding and CANīT BE BYPASSED.

I presume you already checked the Power Switch.
Voltage okay between Red and Brown Wires (Transformer Primary Winding)?

: : AU-919 is a very nice High End Amp itīs really worth to fix.
: : If the reason of the fault is Power Transformer you might have a problem to repair unless you can get another from someone who are parting out an AU-919 but I doubt. If you need the Service Manual click on the link below

: : : I bought this unit on Ebay pluged unit in does not power up any ideas what the problem might be? Do you think it is worth fixing i check the fuse it is ok.
: : : Could it be a transformer it has two.
: : : Thanks, CJ
