Can anyone tell me if a standard replacement modern long life bulb is available for the function, tuning dial and power meters in the Sansui 9090? I also need one of the "fuse" type lights for the radio signal strength meters. Is there a source and what are the specifications for these bulbs.... voltage, current draw? Also, is it normal for the protection light to flash red several times befor going solid green as the relay pulls up? I just bought one of these beautiful recievers at a thrift store (for $29.00!!!!!!!) and it appears to be functioning well. I believe a couple of the 479 microfarad 50 volt caps are leaking on the "funciton" board and I will be replacing them. They will be an easy find but I'm not so sure about the lamps.... P.S. I got a pair of Sansui SP1500 speakers (slightly scratched and faded but in perfect working order) at the same shop for $15.00! The golden finds are still out there. One more thing, is there a weak point in the 9090? Something I should watch for that commonly fails? Great forum and I'm elated that I found a peice of gear that works that I coveted in my teens but could never afford..... bye for now...
