I am not sure how you 'chained' them, but you must be very careful. If you connect a pair of 8 ohm speakers to the B-3000's A terminals, and another pair of 8 ohm speakers to the B-3000's B terminals, you are then putting them in parallel, and the net impedance gets halved, its 4 ohms, not 16 ohms.
