This is off topic on a Sansui Website, but I can tell you I have a DCD-1530 player that I found at a garage sale. It has dual 18 bit converters and 8x oversampling. I find the sound to be very smooth and sweet. I also have 3 high end TTs; a Thorens TD126, a Dual 5000CS, and a Luxman PD-375. I think the Denon CD sounds better due to not having any surface noise, but equal in all other respects.
