I am the buyer of the one on Ebay. The $2000 was based on the Buy It Now option. I might have saved some money by waiting until the auction ended but then I might have been outbid by someone else.
I have already received both the BA-5000 and CA-3000 and they are both in beautiful condition (photos at www.audiokarma.org in the Forums, Exclusively Sansui, section).
People who know me Online, and who know how much of a Sansui enthusiast I am,...., I can tell you that of all the Sansui amps, receivers, etc..., I have, while they are all Great, the BA-5000 is far, FAR ahead of them. I have never heard an amp sound as impressive as the BA-5000. The BA-5000 is simply in a Class by itself.
