Is there a Difference between Preamp onOut Au-717 and Au-919 ?

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a difference between tne Preamp on the AU-717 and the AU-919? I've been using the preamp stage on the AU-717 with 2 B&K amps mono block with great results. Here lately,I've been thinking about doing the same with the AU-919. Would it sound better or would it be more of the same?
