I am not sure if its possible to change an amplifier's connectors from rca to balanced. Even if it were, I dont know if its really worth the effort to try and do it. From a theoretical point of view, the balanced connection is said to offer better immunity from noise, but from a practical point of view, I dont think you would really hear any noticeable difference in sound quality. Similarly, some Sansui amps like the AU-919 and AU-X1 have the 'Jump' switch which when activated, bypasses some circuitry for what also would supposely produce a cleaner sound quality, however, when you compare the two possiblities, they dont really sound that much different.

I think if you really want to utilize a Balanced system, you should leave the AU-G90X as it is, and just obtain a Sansui integrated amp which already has Balanced connectors, such as the AU-X901.

The review of the AU-G90X is located in the October 84 issue of High Fidelity magazine.
