A friend of mine gave me recently a Sansui AU-70. It seems to be in good shape, as far as I can tell. However it has been sitting in her attic for many years. When adjusting the volume cracking sounds are amplified. Also seem the jacks of todays CD players not to be compatible with it.
I'd like to hook this thing up to my system and would like to get it cleaned and, if needed, fixed by somebody who knows what they are doing. Any leads? And any comments on the CD player hook-up situation.
