The AU-X711 is shown in a 1990/91 German Sansui catalog I have. The top model in this Line, the AU-X911DG was reviewed in Stereophile magazine in the Novemeber 89 issue and also Audio magazine April 90.
I realize that its difficult to find parts. You might want to check the Sansui listings on Ebay Germany and see if there might be any non-working, inexpensive AU-911, 711, 611's for sale that you can use as a parts resource. Keep checking there, maybe with some luck, something will become available in the near future.
By the way, the AU-X711 does offer Balanced (3 pin XLR) connectors so if you wish to utilize that benefit, you should consider getting a CD player such as the Sansui CD-X711 which has balanced output connectors that you could connect to the integrated amp.
