Randomly, the blue screen will work 100% OK, then either the right or left side will go dim again. Sometimes if I lightly tap the top of the receiver, the lights come on. a/ just a loose fuse/bulb you can get new fuses on ebay / their the same bulbs as marantz uses.easy to install i have an 8080 a exellent reciever............
