I am still confused about what problems I cause myself if I buy (-)r/rw instead of (+) r/rw technology. And, I read that some VCR/DVD devices do show bad degradation of quality when the tape is transfered from vcr tape to dvd. Surely, you do not think the clerks at SEARS would know the answers??? NOT.
I bought one of those units, yesterday. Go to the Sears web site and look at the specs page for more info. It seems fairly straight forward as to use/operation. Records DVD to VHS, VHS to DVD. Haven't tried transfering from one to the other, yet.
