FYI, the TU-9900 has not been tested by Jim who runs these shootouts. I'd expect it to make it to the top 3.

Don't underestimate the need for a real antenna to get the best out of a tuner, and if you really care for sound quality get it aligned by someone who know tuners. Would recommend, Ed Hanlon at both for his superb antennas and the exceptional alingnment.
