This is a little brother of AU-11000 and AU-20000 that consist of Professional Series.  A little later, AU-9900A and AU-11000A were introduced.  There were array of less powerful little brothers; AU-2900, AU-3900, AU-4900, AU-5900, AU-6900, and AU-7900.  Apart from those 900's, there were similar series, AU-2200, AU-3300, AU-4400, AU-5500, AU-6600, and AU-7700.

Main Specifications:

Power Output: Min. RMS, both channels driven, from 20 to 20,000 Hz, with no more than 0.05% total harmonic distortion  80 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 80 watts per channel into 4 ohms

Load Impedance: 4, 8ohms (SYSTEM A or B), 8 ohms (SYSTEM A+B)

 Power Bandwidth: 20 to 20,000 Hz at or below rated min. RMS power output and total harmonic distortion

Total Harmonistic Distortion (POWER AMP IN): less than 0.05% at or below rated min. RMS power output

Intermodulation Distortion (70Hz : 7kHz = 4:1 SMPTE method): less than 0.05%

Frequency Response (at 1 watt) (POWER AMP IN): 5 to 80,000HZ +0db - 1.5db

Damping Factor: approximately 70 at 8ohms
